Where does the sun put all its colours at night?

Hello Grubsters,
The sky was painting itself this evening.
But it wasn’t with a brush. Or a paint pot.
Just with light!

Which made me wonder...

Where does the sun put all its colours at night?

It can't keep them all.
There are far too many!

Apricot.
Amber.
Rose.
Gold.
Lavender.

Funny where wondering can take you.

Perhaps sunsets aren't really endings.
Perhaps they're the sun carefully packing away its colours until tomorrow morning.

I like that thought.

Sometimes I think the evening sky is the world's biggest goodnight card.
Every cloud gets a little colour.
Every bird flies home through a painting.
Even the trees seem to stop for a moment and quietly watch.

I usually do too.
Some things are simply too beautiful to hurry past.

Now I'm wondering something else...

If you could keep just one sunset colour in your pocket ...

which one would you choose?

Keep noticing!

Love,

dirtgirl 💚

PS...Do you think tomorrow's sunrise borrows a little colour from tonight's sunset?
