Hi, I am Lisa founder and creator of Seeds for Tomorrow and this is my son Sam, my inspiration behind the journey.  I am proud to share with you Seeds for Tomorrow creations and am so grateful to have you here.

Seeds for Tomorrow is all about planting seeds in hearts and in the earth.  Seeding kindness and growing love through connection, wonder, and gratitude as we open, surrender, and breathe into the oneness as new seeds are sown.

Inspiring and empowering our children to connect to nature and their emotional selves through the benefits of nature-inspired affirmation cards and mindful seed growing kits. Thoughtfully created, curated and woven with intent to provide an activity that opens our children up to the intimate connection nature has to offer as well as opening up to their emotional selves.

As a mum of a young child, lover of nature and a big believer in the power of positive thoughts and daily affirmations my intention was to create an activity that would bring these two loves together. I wanted to create an activity where I could pass on the understanding of the benefits of affirmations and explore and nurture the connection to nature. An activity that the two of us could journey, share and enjoy together.

So a space was created, a seed was planted and the journey of Seeds for Tomorrow began to grow.

I look forward to planting seeds with you now and into the future.

Super Snail Sleuths

๐ŸŒBeing  a โ€˜super snail sleuthโ€™ is a relaxing and fun way to whittle the hours away.
Did you know that snails are very helpful to humans? ๐ŸŒ

They are like vacuum cleaners in our gardens, eating fallen, dead or dying plant matter and they help us turn this waste in to soil. Sadly, many snails get a bit too excited about the plants in our garden and eat the ones that are still alive, so some gardeners regard the common garden snail as a pest.

Before you go snail hunting, you might like to put on some gardening gloves.  You will need a container to put them in and a magnifying glass can be helpful too. Once you have found some garden snails, you might want to draw a small circle inside a bigger circle on the pavement with chalk and have a โ€˜snail raceโ€™ with a friend.

Place your chosen snail inside the small circle and watch to see whose snail makes it past the bigger outer circle first.  You might just want to sit back, relax and watch the snails move and munch their way through some juicy green leaves (a magnifying glass can be handy). Shhhhh if you have a hen house, donโ€™t let on to your feathered friends you found lots of snails because chooks love eating the insects we regard as garden pests.

We encourage you to wash hands with warm soapy water after watching the snails.  You may like to make a paper snail.  See poster attached for instructions.   Random fact: Did you know that the snail is a delicacy in French Cuisine, called Escargot, and eaten in many other countries often as a fried meal? ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒฟ
