As a way to help a little with this transition,
dirtgirl is launching her PLAY IT SAFE project.

This is a fun lovin’ project… bringing joy to the serious science messaging of how we protect ourselves in a changed world.
It starts with funky reminder wristbands with simple messages - PLAY IT SAFE and WASH YOUR HANDS. Good reminders for everyone - and peace of mind for parents.
Beyond the wristbands, PLAY IT SAFE is a brainstrust of ideas and games to make sure we are having fun while staying apart to stay healthy and happy!
dirtgirl wants to take the nag out of the equation and let kids remind themselves when they reach to eat or play or practice or hug that just for now, there’s a new way of hanging out together…apart!
Childhood is a time for making friends. For exploring and being curious in the world; for making connections and being connected.
During Covid19, childhood has been interrupted!
We have asked our children to keep their distance from others…to stay separate - to stay safe.
We asked them to stay home with their families and to learn and play distanced from their teachers and classmates.
We asked them to stay apart from their grandparents.
We ask them to wash their hands… a lot!
In a bold move, dirtgirl is using her rear vision to move forward. She’s bringing back silicon message wristbands and adding the festival vibe to everyday life! Made in super safe silicon, they won’t easily snap or fade when wet. dirtgirl loves stuff that lasts!
